Osmosis and Diffusion (Isaiah Thomas)

Osmosis

This is salt water. It would be an example of osmosis because water will pass through the salt until both are equally distributed. 

Semi-permeable membrane

My hat is an example of a semi-permeable membrane because only air and really thin or tiny things can pass through it. 

Diffusion

The Febreze is an example of diffusion because it is coming from a place of high concentration, the nozzle, to a place of low concentration, the air. 

Hypertonic Solution 

The Simply Saline is hypertonic because it has a higher concentration of salt than water outside of the cell. 

Hypotonic Solution 

Mi Familia is an amazing example of a hypotonic solution because both of them were inside of my mothers room,which is the cell,  while only I stood outside of her room.

The heart is a organ that keeps the body and blood pumping through out the body. My bestfiends ( &Daughter) are my heart, they push me to do my best at all times and keeps me going. 

The muscular system is the system creates movement. This is me trying to useing my muscular system to walk as a baby.

Characteristics of Living Things

1. Movement - self initiated change in position, motion of internal parts

2. Responsiveness - Ability to sense changes and react to them

5. Respiration - Obtaining oxygen (O2), using it to release energy from food substances, and getting rid of wastes

All about me

Hi my name is Danielle Bedney, I am currently a senior in high school. Being a senior my scheduler is always busy. I am in ongoing movement throughout the day. Due to that I stay energize by eating enough nutrients which increase my growth . Thanks to my immune system I am able to stay in school because I am never sick. My white blood cells play a huge role too by protecting my body against catching both diseases and viruses. During class, if I tend to get sleepy I usually get a drink of water. I heard thanks to red blood cells by drinking water it helps to transfer oxygen from your lungs to all parts of your body and to carry carbon dioxide from other parts of the body to your lungs aka keeping you awake.
