The skin is an important organ in making sure this three functions are handled.

The fetus is connected to the placenta by a tube called the umbilical cord. The cord contains two arteries and a vein. Substances pass back and forth between the mother's and fetus's blood through the placenta and cord. Oxygen and nutrients pass from the mother to the fetus.

We determined age based on the the size of the pig and the length of the pig was 26.5 cm.

It will take up to 30-40 days.

We measured the pig to determine the age. Since our pig was 36cm, it was 115 days old.

Protection, Heat regulation,Excertion, Secretion, and Absorption are some functiona of the skin. Skin is important because it protects your internal organs, regulates your body temperature and tells how your body is doing.

The air needs to be filtered because if your breathe in dirty air then it can damage your lungs. The air need to be warm because we have a body temperature regulator and if the temperature is not regulated, the body function is not optimize.

The hard palate separates the oral and nasa cavaities, bordering the oral cavity superiorly and forming the roof of the mouth and the nasal cavity inferiorly forming its floor.

Our pig was at birth. We determined the pig's age by measuring the pig from head to toe in centimeters. Our pig was 30cm long.

- Ariel and I pig 112 days old. We measured the length of the pig to determine the age of our pig. Our pig was 30 cm long.
