1. Approximately how many days from ferilization would your pig be if it measured 2 inches in length?( Hint: first, convert to cm.)

5.08 cm ~66 days

2. Why is the skin such an important organ? List 3 functions of the skin.

The skin is an important organ in making sure this three functions are handled.

1. protection 
2. regulation
3. sensation

3. Why does inhaled air need to be warmed, filtered, and moistened?

To remove all solid substances from it along with the moisture to make sure the lungs do not dry out.

4. How do materials pass back and forth between the fetus and the mother?

The fetus is connected to the placenta by a tube called the umbilical cord. The cord contains two arteries and a vein. Substances pass back and forth between the mother's and fetus's blood through the placenta and cord. Oxygen and nutrients pass from the mother to the fetus.
5. What is the function of the hard palate?
The hard palate is made up of ridges and is located on the roof of the mouth, which separates the oral and nasal cavities; this makes it possible to eat and breathe simultaneously.

6. How old was your pig? How did you determine the age and what was your length?

100~ birth

We determined age based on the the size of the pig and the length of the pig was 26.5 cm.
