This display of me spraying Glade, shows the vocabulary word Diffusion. Diffusion is the movement of molecules from an area of high concentration to an area of lower concentration without any energy input. I did not have to help the spray spread around the room or push it to come out. The spray spreaded around and reached equilibrium itself without any addition energy.
This picture of a kool-aid jammer is an example of an hypertonic solution. A hypertonic solution is when molecules outside the cell are higher than the concentration in the cytosol. It is the complete opposite of a hypotonic solution. This kool-aid jammer has more artificial flavoring (solute) than water, so therefore it is a hypertonic solution.
