Types of Tissue (Isaiah Thomas)

I used the sponge as an example for eccrine glands because when you squeeze it water/soap would secrete out of the pores of the sponge. 

My coat is an example of stratified squamous epithelium because it had multiple layers and protects me from cold weather. 

A fitted sheet is an example of basement membrane because it's thin and it separates the mattress (underlying tissue) and the skin.  

The cabinet in my kitchen is an example of fiborous connective tissue because the indintations are parallel. 

The juice in a pickle jar is an example of adipose tissue because it's loose and surrounds internal organs and the seeds are the adipocytes. 

The leg warmer is an example of dense connective tissue because the patterns are woven together parallel.  

The shower curtain is an example of skeletal muscle tissue because when water (contractions) hit the curtain it controls the impact by "relaxing" and letting the water slip off of it. 

Coconut Oil is an example of Hyaline Cartilage because when used externally it  is smooth and silky. 

My skin is epithelial tissue because it secretes sweat and protects my internal surfaces. 

Like Bone Tissue, my tablet communicate and exchange information with other devices (osteocytes).
