Types of Tissue (Saiswan Ingram)

Exocrine Glands- Sweat is a exocrine gland which help cool down the body.  Glands that produce and secret substances on an epithelial surface.

Basement Membrane- the lower level of the membrane. The tattoo artist had to make sure the tattoo was put below the basement level

Fibrous Connective Tissue- supports and shocks absorption into bones and organs different types of tissue.

Hylaline cartilage-covers end of bones at joints (the elbow is filled with hylaline cartilage) aluminim covers the ends of things just like hyaline cartilage.

Sweater is an example of stratified squamous epithelium because it had multiple layers and protects me from cold weather.

The shower curtain is an example of skeletal muscle tissue because when water (contractions) hit the curtain it controls the impact by "relaxing" and letting the water slip off of it.

Like Bone Tissue, my ipad communicate and exchange information with other devices (osteocytes).

Types of Tissue (Ariel Chapman)

Stratified Squamous Epithelium - The outer layer of the eyelid

Basement Membrane - A lower layer of tissue underlying the epithelial tissue. When getting a tattoo the artist is suppose to it hit the basement membrane in order to create a good tattoo.

Adipose Tissue - Function to protect the internal organs. Also called fat.

Fibrous Connective Tissue - Made up of tendons and ligaments Tendons : connect muscle to bone

Ligaments : connect bone to bone
Skeletal Muscle Tissue - Muscles connected to bones

Dense Connective Tissue - Cartilage : nose , ear , chondrocytes Exocrine Glands
Exocrine Gland - Sweat that hopes cool down the body. Glands of the external secretion.
